Applications are invited from researchers of Sri Lanka who are willing to conduct research programmes related to Agriculture, for the funding of Nationally Important innovative research projects to enhance the Agriculture Sector.
Priority will be given to concept papers on Food Security, Post-Harvest Technology and Organic Agriculture etc.
The Research Concept Papers submitted to the SLCARP will be evaluated by National Committees functioning at SLCARP mainly on national relevance, innovativeness and scientific merit. Selected projects will be recommended for funding by the General Treasury through the Ministry of Agriculture. SLCARP Priority Books are available at SLCARP website.
Application & a soft copy should reach the Council office on or before 21st June 2021.
Principal Investigators with ongoing grants are not eligible to apply for 2022 Research Grants.
